about

'A perfect night out in Embra, starting with everyone robbing the bank and getting their t-shirts, then heading down to the Liquid Rooms where Dr Death tears up the dancefloor at EVOL with his meerkat moves. Policehief turn up between fights to do a set, then it's along to the old Bongo for the Dance Disaster Collective. Then back to Sneaky's for RIDE, but we have to hit the bar for jagerbombs whenever Checkie plays some hip-hop cos we don't know how to dance to it. And at the end of it all it's off to the City Restaurant for an overpriced sausage supper and then slumping on the couch in front of the telly, wondering if anyone can do your shift tomorrow...'

After the ambient soundscapes of 'Europe', Pearce/Bryant returns with his second album 'Dancehalls'. Taking inspiration from a diverse range of electronic genres such as techno, house and hip-hop, Dancehalls attempts to collect floor-filling music from across the dance spectrum, and bring them all under the roof of one club for one night only.
